Dates

Eligibility

- Only participants who completed the DTP training program may join.

- Only one person is allowed to attempt; no teams are authorized.

Project and Submission Requirements

- All work must be original and completed during the hackathon period.

- Plagiarism or code copied from public sources without attribution is not allowed.

- Each participant may submit one project only.

- Submissions must follow the requirements in the "Submission Requirements" section.

Prizes

- Prizes will be awarded to the top projects in each track based on innovation, impact, technical quality, and presentation.

- Additional prizes may be given for best teamwork, most creative solution, or bonus features.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be judged based on the following criteria (total: 100 points):

- Technical Implementation (25 pts)

  Code quality, proper use of tools and frameworks, and robustness of the solution.

- Challenge Fit & Features (20 pts)

  How well the project addresses the selected challenge and meets the required features.

- Impact & Relevance (15 pts) 

  Potential for real-world impact and value to users or stakeholders.

- Innovation & Creativity (10 pts)

  Novelty and originality of the idea, design, or technical approach.

- Scalability & Sustainability (10 pts)

  Ability to scale or adapt the solution to different contexts or users.

- Documentation & Presentation (10 pts)

  Clarity of the README, instructions, and quality of the project demo/presentation.

- Bonus (10 pts)

  Outstanding teamwork, bonus features (e.g., mobile money, AI, gamification), or exceptional UX.

Winner Selection

- Winners will be selected by a panel of expert judges using the above criteria.

- The top-scoring project in each track/category will be awarded a prize.

- Additional awards may be given for best teamwork, most creative solution, or best presentation.

- The decision of the judges is final.
